"I worked with Dr. Rayner to train for my first half marathon. During our initial consultation, my immediate takeaway was just how knowledgeable he is. It's reassuring to work with a professional who is well versed in their field that they can answer any and all of your questions simply so that you have the best understanding. Dr. Rayner customized a training regimen backed by research that I followed for 8 weeks. He checked in with me continuously, not only to hold me accountable, but also to see how I was feeling physically and mentally, and I truly appreciated that. By the end, I was shocked at how much I had improved not just in my times, but also in my mindset. Working with Dr. Rayner gave me the confidence I needed to know that I can crush any goals I set for myself for this race and future races to come!”

“I met Dr. Rayner at his run club and after overhearing me complain about knee pain, he encouraged me to make an appointment with him to get it looked at. I was very impressed with the combination of his bedside manners, knowledge, and how laid back his office environment is. And this is coming from someone that doesn’t like going to the doctor’s office. I would gladly make another appointment with Dr. Rayner and would recommend him to anyone that is dealing with discomfort or pain from physical related activities.”

"I came to Dr. Rayner looking to get help for my shin split pain I get after I run and jump rope. For me, it’s been very difficult and discouraging to get back into shape because I couldn’t run or jump rope without having major shin pain. Dr. Rayner listening to me and paid such good attention to my symptoms. He diagnosed me with medial tibial stress syndrome. Dr. Rayner then took the time to make a training regimen that allowed me to strengthen my tibial, calf, knee, hip and gluteal muscles. These muscles are not the obvious big muscle groups but more like the muscles that tend to get neglected and forgotten. Dr. Rayner provided continued to adjust and check in on me on a weekly basis. He’s really genuine interested in helping his patients. It took some work but with his help I can jog and jump rope comfortable without feeling that terrible pain again. If you need help with any sort of physical therapy, Dr. Rayner is your helpline. I leave nothing but good reviews on my behalf for the care and attention I received from him!"

"Dr. Rayner is the best physical therapist I’ve had. I was able to do a consultation virtually with him and with 30 min of speaking to me and testing me he gave me back pain relief. "As a person with a high pain tolerance, I was having a sharp back pain in my lower back that I could absolutely not tolerate. It became to the point, that I was almost in tears. I immediately seeked Dr. Rayner, from QOL. He was able to evaluate and educate me on the root of the problem. He was upfront with me about the process of treatment, and gave me exercises that would treat the area. After following his exercise treatment, I noticed the pain slowly diminish. Dr. Rayner is honest, yet professional and I will definitely be seeking his Physical Therapy services again!"

  • John B.

“Came in with knee tightness and he not only helped me start my journey to then feeling better but explained everything throughout the process.”

  • Luke S.

“I cannot recommend Dr. Joseph Rayner highly enough. I worked with Dr. Rayner for pain in both elbows. I had both tennis elbow and golfer's elbow in both elbows, so I was a mess! As a rock climber I'd self-treated some elbow issues before using a method of eccentric training, but this time that wasn't working. Dr. Rayner stated that the most recent research showed that that was no longer the best approach, and that he knew what to do when it doesn't work. We got to work and together we resolved the problem. Throughout our weeks together it was clear that keeping up with the latest research and advancements, and putting them into practice, was a passion for Dr. Rayner. But he doesn't just pay attention to the research - he pays attention to YOU. He listened carefully to me and my body's reactions, and adjusted my care based on that feedback. Throughout our time Dr. Rayner impressed me with his intelligence, his focus, his warmth, his sense of humor, and his commitment to my return to rock climbing.
